Market Reputation & Limitations

The PC60-7 is known as a "workhorse" in the small excavator segment, with many 20-year-old units still in normal operation globally. Its second-hand residual value is 10–15% higher than competing models of the same age and usage.Its main limitations are: the old emission standard cannot meet the latest environmental protection requirements in some regions; the air conditioning performance of early production units is average, and the travel motor oil seal is prone to aging after long-term use (the problem has been fixed in later batches, and replacement parts are very cheap).

The PC60-7 was officially discontinued in 2010 and replaced by the PC60-8 and PC70-11 series with higher emission standards, but it is still one of the most sought-after models in the global second-hand excavator market.
